Our people.
We are an agency dedicated to reaching the goals of our clients. We foster the identity of our clients and share it through marketing and communication platforms. For over 30 years this strategy has produced effective marketing as well as lasting relationships.
Benny Williams
President and Founder. Since starting the agency in 1979 as a 1-person shop, Benny realizes the importance of surrounding oneself with talented people and quickly worked to add to the staff! However, those early years did provide valuable experience dealing with all aspects of agency activities. A few of the current duties (aside from signing checks) include interacting with clients, copywriting, research, account management, input on creative direction; TV and video production; and making sure the security team has its 10:30 stroll and lunch!
Ruthie Bowen
Vice President and probably been here longer than she’d like to admit (1985). A talented artist, she uses her abilities from days as a journalist to crank out compelling copy...and edit it! Works closely with clients; graphic design, creative direction and concept-building; keeps ball rolling on a daily basis; has been known to ‘take one for the team,’ even if it does mean giving a client’s stray cat a home. Convinced that Heaven must be filled with Tar Heels because the sky is Carolina Blue.
Margaret Foster
Another who remembers the pre-Mac agency world. Graphic designer with a penchant for typography and detail work. A strong knowledge of printing and quality of paper comes from early professional life, before she was in the world of soccer and Eagle Scouts.
Dana Ross
Avid racing fan has parlayed her skills into research and copywriting; keeps track of an amazing amount of data and statistics; catches many a typo or incorrect fact before it reaches print (whew!).
Jim Willard
A gifted illustrator by hand or computer with strong Photoshop skills; graphic and website design; IT troubleshooter and a huge help to all of us when our computers freeze and all we have on the screen is the spinning beachball of doom.
Andrea Kay
Each job that the agency tackles needs to follow a path, and she sets them upon it: opens and organizes jobs, assigns job numbers to AP; keeps those photographers happy (well, sort of) with usage records; provides proof in the pudding by maintaining tearsheet files; and threatens to whip us into shape as a certified kettle bell instructor.
Gwen Freeman
Responsible for all of the day-to-day bookkeeping of the company. Her duties include all receivables, payables, accounting reports, payroll, etc; dealings with the office machines as well as personnel issues, and always with a smile – Bless her heart!
Amy Sword
Master of many a computer program she brings a fresh approach to graphic and website design. An accomplished photographer; assists with the bookkeeping when needed; stealthily competitive when discussing certain round and oblong-shaped ball activities.
Kirk Nixon
Veteran of the advertising world, he provides great support to the team, acting as liaison between client and agency; picky proofreader (thank goodness!); research and a little copywriting. A graduate of Kentucky, and Sees Blue for all UK athletic endeavors.
Ben Cowgill
Overall responsibility is for growth of agency; strong in analytics and strategies through market research; provides direction and assistance to all account team members; tries to keep us abreast of the latest tools to communicate with the world and our community; still follows those Mustangs from SMU, though there is no doubt that he bleeds blue for Kentucky basketball.
Angus, Emma, & Lucy
Greeting committee & stress managers
If you were visiting our agency, you would hear the doorbell bark and probably be subject to a serious sniff-over from one of our office dogs. This is a veteran team, as responsibility of agency security and stress management requires a highly specialized crew.
